If you have an iBook, you are probably a happy Mac owner, but you may find over time that it begins to look dirty and take on a greenish tinge. How do you clean the place where you rest your wrists? For the longest time I kept trying to clean the iBook with different cleaners and nothing would clean the case.
This was all true until I tried using an eraser. Not any type, one of the white polymer erasers like this one. With light circular motions you can quickly clean off the surface of your laptop without leaving any scratches or residue.

Well, well. I was sceptical, but I tried it, and what the hell? It works! Thanks for the tip!
I’ve tried all kinds of cleaners to clean my MacBook…the eraser thing was interesting, but didn’t work for me.
It takes a lot of rubbing and hard work. Keep trying!
Had the annoying “wristpad-greenish” problem,…purchased an Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and BAM, it took two strokes and it was all gone…make SURE you wipe off the leftover liquid residue with a CLEAN UNUSED towel…Funny, how such a pain in the butt problem, has such a simple solution…I LOVE IT!!!
Hi!
The eraser did help my macbook…but I can’t say its back to being brand new. But the eraser definitely helped.
Thank you!
This was an awesome tip! The hi-polymer eraser took everything right off! Thanks!!!!!
